Eva Olsson Blog

A little while ago a person came to our class who was known by the name Eva Olson.Eva was a holocaust survivor. She is the only survivor of the holocaust i have met. She is very inspiring. To hear her story would change you forever.

She is Jewish. So one day the Nazis were bound to come to her town. She and her family were sent down the street into boxcars. Thereafter sent to a concentration camp. The concentration camp the were sent to was in a place called auswitsch.

The conditions were very poor there. The food was no exception which was consisting of mostly sawdust. Later on in life Eva Olson got married. But all good things must come to an end. Eva lost her husband to drunk driving.

I think Eva was a strong person. probably one of the strongest person i have ever know.

Small,but amazing! things

A day, not that long ago,I was headed to a big base ball tournament in all small part of Ontario. On the way there,it stated to rain well, more of a sprinkle. That soon turned into a pretty heavy downpour. This is what i was thinking, ' aw man i gonna get soaked out there today!' My parents said it would be about 28 more minutes, till we got there.

Now i was thinking the game might be canceled because of the rain. If the diamond got to be extremely wet they would cancel it. as well as if it was thundering of if there was lightning it would be canceled as well. For me, the hopes looked pretty slim. It seemed as though as soon as we would get there, be told that the game has been canceled and make the 2 hour drive back home.

It turned out as soon as we arrived even trough it was still raining the game would not be canceled the diamond was wet but not enough to cancel it. It had been protected by trees. The game had started and we had all gotten soaked to the skin. as the game ended and we had won the tournament the rain started to thin out and a rainbow appeared. It was probably the best rain bow i have ever seen. It was the picture perfect ending to a movie.

I will never forget that day and all that happened.
