The Stanley Cup Playoffs! ( The Eastern Confrence! )

Ill Start with the Eastern Conference.

Pittsburgh and Montreal Have the series tied 3-3 and its going to game 7. Personally I would take montreal for the win. The reason: They had already beat the 1st place team in the eastern confrence wich was washinton and they had Alexander Ovechkin. They same story with Pittsburgh except Sidney Crosby. It would be hard but the Canadiens picked up a player that had played with Pittsburgh for a while and know Crosby better than any other person on the Canadiens. Maybe that was why Crosby has only scored once in this series. I think will Hall Gill, Mike Cammalleri and Brian Gionta will take the canadiens to the win.

Now onto the other two teams In the east which are boston and Philadelphia i think these two teams will be a bit eaisier to predict than the last Boston is leading the series 3-2. They have good solid players like their top center Marc Savard and good golatending to add to their chances with Tuukka Rask in net. But the flyers didn't get here by luck or chance with people like Simon Gagne and Danny Briere on the offensive line. Aswell as some solid people on the defensive like Chris Pronger and with the Flyers comming off a heated 4-0 win last game in Boston there is no doubt who has momentum on their side. I would think that the flyers would use that momenyum to win. My predictions the flyers in 7 But make no mistake Boston(i hope they win though) will be ready to go into Game 6 with a vengence and if they win its lights out for the Flyers.

For me an ideal Semifinal Match up would be Boston and Montreal which is one of the biggest rivalries going in NHL history. But, I think its going to be Montreal and Philadelphia . We will see if im right and I'm sure by next week this time we will know for sure which teams would be moving on and the ones who would be cleaning out their locker rooms and getting ready for the off season.

Reality Tv Shows!

I think that reality TV is far from depicting reality. It sure is taking up prime time programming it seems like every day there is a new show taking up blocks on TV. Here why i think they are anything but reality. Firstly for example the show survivor In reality there might be some tribe somewhere but other than that its just a shows that tries to grab your attention.

Not that i have anything against the show i actually like it a lot it just that its really far from reality.

My favorite reality show from all time (so far) is Celebrity apprentice. The reason not only that it provides good entertainment, but that the winner of each week gets money to donate to the charity of their choice. So its a good show with purpose and helps less fortunate people.

In conclusion, most Reality TV shows don't depict reality but some help the world. While others are there for solely for entertainment.

Gainers

I think something should be done about this its a terrible thing. I don't know how anybody in the right mind would do this to themselves. I've read the whole article and ends just don't meet up. Firstly are they doing this for then money or is 100% of that is going for their food.

Personally I think something should be done about this but the question is what do you do? I mean do you tell them to stop eating so much you can do that but they wont listen. Do we try to tell them about all the health risks and what they are getting into? You can tell them anything and everything but in the end its all their personal choice.

It's their life not ours so who are we to tell them what to do?

Uniforms

Some Like em most hate them. But all in all you have to wear them. Personally i don't mind them. They are a daily part of our lives so here are a list of pros and cons to think about uniforms.

The pros are, that no one can be judged by their clothes or how they look and it also makes clothes choices a lot easier (not that I'm such a high fashion person). Also grass stains don't show up with all these darker colours.

Cons for some people are Not just the uniform themselves but how they have to wear them. Like just tucking their shirts in and having to wear their cardigan in chapel. Personally i don't think the uniforms are pretty good because i puts you in a routine and that helps to make you shave precious seconds of your time you need to get to school so i don't think anything about the uniforms need to be changed.

Evensong

Evensong From what i am reading about this post is that most people don't Like it well, all i have to say is that It is not my favorite time of day. For some of you this might be confusing If you have read my post Does God exist? and i will tell you why in a second. Firstly Its not about the content they have there but it is how they do things. For example i go to a church and How they do things there are different for example to don't even use an organ and have us read things things from a Burgundy book. Repeating things line after line every single day.

On the other hand my church you can say is very contemporary. They have a band yes i said band. They also sing kind of rock type of music. And to top it all off we sit for quite a bit more than at evensong.

So In conclusion I think they should give evensong a bit of a dose of new music and style. If this happens then, I am sure there will be quite a few more souls then now that would look forward to evensong.

Does God exist?

Ok, firstly let me tell you that I am biased. I am a Theist which means that I beleive there is one God the creator and ruler of the universe. Personally, I think the only way to doubt Christianity fairly is to understand the alternate belief under your doubts and then ask yourself what reasons you have for believing it and how do you know your belief is true?

It would be wrong to to ask for more proof for the Christian belief that God exists then for Atheist belief that he does not, but that is what often happens. For those of you who do not believe that God exists here are some thoughts that may help you reconsider.

1) Why is the universe expanding at an accelerated pace? Does this not in some way point to a moment of begining, something initiated by a supreme being?

2) The more we study the universe the more we realize how complex it is. How can something so complex happen accidentally?

3) How can the material world develop innate moral grounding in humans? Does this not point to a moral Creator that built us this way?

4) Our universe is full of fine tuning when you look at how all the various laws and elements fit together. Tiny changes in in any one of these would not allow for human life to exist. Does this not point to a divine designer? God?

5) Finally, what do you think about Jesus and his fulfillment of prophesy, and ressurrection? Is he telling the truth or lying, being honest or deluded? If he is right does that not mean there is a God?

From my perspective I believe that there is quite a bit of evidence to support the existence of God.

The Winter Olympic Games

This year the winter Olympic games were held in a place we all know and love, Canada. Well more specifically Vancouver, British Columbia. Canada had hosted the Olympics twice before. Once in 88' in Calgary, Alberta and the other time in 76 in Montreal, Quebec.

Unfortunately both of the times we hosted the games we had never won a gold medal. The Canadian people were a little nervous, they wanted this time to be different. They eagerly anticipating who would win the first gold medal on Canadian soil.

The games began with Alexandre Bilodeau winning Canada's first gold medal at home. What an exiting moment one we would never forget. So now Canada had a gold medal but we were not finished yet. No, we were far from being finished. Who could forget the men's hockey game between Canada and the U.S. with the overtime goal by Sidney Crosby which gave us our last gold medal.

Canada went on to win 7 bronze medals 7 silver medals and fourteen Gold medals the most of any winter Olympics .The Vancouver 2010 Winter games would go down in history as the the time that Canada won the most gold medals of all time!

In conclusion, Canada did pretty good for their last Host Olympic games comming from no medals at all to the most of all tiem? thats a pretty good improvement.

Summer

Summer time. For some it means rest and relaxation others it means traveling to Popular vacation destinations like Florida. For me it means Resting then traveling to new places.

Last summer I was lucky enough for my parents to take me with them for their regular summer trip. I was also lucky that the trip was to Europe! I was really excited. It was Europe I was no place i have ever been before. As well I was travelling to many different countries Like Spain, Italy and France just to name a few.

Since the amount of things I have seen are to many to recall, i will just tell you the most exciting parts. Firstly, I saw the Colosseum , the Spanish steps both located in Rome. One other Highlight was Ephesus located in turkey The ruins there were incredibly Still mostly intact. Another not so old place i visited was Monaco. Monaco In Monte Carlo was A place with a world renowned casino and a bustling port town. I also saw close to monte carlo was Nice and Eze located in france the two town s were very different from each other one being very quaint and located high up on a mouantian and the other locted centrally and i heart of a busy town market.

All in all ,I must say that was the most educational trip I have ever had even though I must say that it was not the most relaxing. But for those that have the opportunity? I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Final Follow Up to Nintendo Video Game Systems

Nintendo-translated Into from Japanese to English means "leave luck to heaven" according to Nintendo's touch! website.

Here is probably the last post on Nintendo video game systems. Here Will be the latest systems Nintendo has created. Hope you enjoy!

The First system created after the GBA sp was the Original Nintendo DS. By the way DS stands for Dual screen. The release was in 2004 in Canada and the USA. The systems Includes some new features like the One touch screen on the bottom and a built-in-microphone. Another bonus in that you can connect wirelessly now between 10-33 meters. Instead of having to use A link cable. Unlike the Game boy advance sp the Nintendo ds can only play Gameboy advance Game And of course Nintendo ds games as well. Because of its release around the same time as the Gameboy micro, The ds over shadowed the Gameboy Micro. Making some people never even know it was created. Because of this mistake, I believe that this discouraged the Nintendo corporation about their gameboy line and encouraged them to do something new. Thats exactly what they did. There has never been a new gameboy made since the gameboy advance sp.

The next Upgrade To the Ds Line was the Nintendo DS Lite*. The ds lite I think was a major upgrade to the original Nintendo ds,with Notable Brighter Screens. The Nintendo ds Lite Was released in Canada and the USA, June 11 2006 Just two years after the original ds. Like it's predecessor,It is still compatible with all game boy advance game. But the Gba slot is shallower Making the larger Gba cartridge stick out 1 cm from the slot.

The Third ds Is the Nintendo Dsi. The dsi came out, April 5th 2009. The Dsi Is drastically different than the previous systems. The dsi is more like a computer and has a start up screen and you can go back to the main menu without having to turn the unit off and on again like the Previous two. Another feature to the dsi is the two cameras which can be used to take picture for your games and just for fun. Unfortunately which a bid disappointment for me is that the Game boy advance slot is now removed replacing it is an SD card for extra memory.

Coming Out Spring 2010 Is the Dsi xl also know as the dsi ll in japan. This Change However Is not that impressive to me. The Only real Difference is that The console has Wider screens and Is extremly heavy. Personnaaly bad to take if you are a person who likes to take the system whilw you travel.

So there You have It all the Hand held Nintendo Video Game Systems Ever Creates So far.
Hope you Enjoyed it.

Nintendo Video Game Systems

What kind of things to you like to do? Writing? Reading?Playing outside hanging out with your friends? Playing video games?Comment on this in the comments and tell me what you like to do in your free time.
I was Inspired to write this post because of robert's post about video games. One thing robert, Mario is not just generally for japan! But my post this time will be about video game systems and how they evolved over the years. PS: i enjoy writing about this topic so i might be a Little long.So sit back relax and enjoy this timeline starting at the first game boy and moving forward so enjoy!

Game Boy (picture on the left)The original Game Boy was first released in Japan on April 21, 1989. Based around a Z80 processor, it has a black and green reflective LCD screen, an eight-way directional pad, two action buttons (A and B), and Start and Select buttons. It plays games from ROM-based media contained in small plastic detachable units called cartridges The original Game Boy was one of the first cartridge-based systems that supported more than four players at one time. In fact, it has been shown that the system could support 16 simultaneous players at once.

Game boy: Play It Loud!In 1995 Nintendo released several Game Boy models with colored cases, advertising them in the "Play It Loud!" campaign. Is basically the same as the original game boy all the specifications anyways. The Play It Loud's screens also have a darker border than the normal Game Boy and a replacement is hard to come by.(picture on the left)

Game Boy Pocket In 1996 Nintendo released the Game Boy Pocket: a smaller, lighter unit that requires fewer batteries. It has space for two AAA batteries, which provide about 10 hours of game play. The screen was changed to a true black-and-white display. (picture on right)

Game Boy Light This system was only released in Japan. It was the only handheld Nintendo produced with an integrated Backlight. Until the redesign of the Game boy Advance SP. (picture on left)

Game Boy Color First released in Japan on October 21, 1998, the Game Boy Color added a color screen to a form factor slightly larger than the Game Boy Pocket. It also has double the processor speed, three times as much memory, and an infrared communications port. A major component of the Game Boy Color is its near-universal backward compatibility (that is, a Game Boy Color is able to read older Game Boy cartridges and even play them in a selectable color palette). This backwards compatibility became a major feature of the Game Boy line, since it allowed each new launch to begin with a significantly larger library than any of its competitors.

Game Boy Advance In Japan, on March 21, 2001, Nintendo released a significant upgrade to the Game Boy line. The Game Boy Advance (also referred to as GBA) featured a 32 bit 16.8 MHz ARM. It included a Z80 processor and a switch activated by inserting a Game Boy or Game Boy Color game into the slot for backward compatibility, and had a larger, higher resolution screen. Controls were slightly modified with the addition of "L" and "R" shoulder buttons. A widely-criticized drawback of the Game Boy Advance is that the screen is not backlit, making viewing difficult in some conditions. The Game cartridges for the GBA are roughly half the length of original Game Boy cartridges, and so older Game cartridges would stick out of the top of the unit. When playing older games, the GBA provides the option to play the game at the standard equal square resolution of the original screen or the option to stretch it over the wider GBA screen.

Game Boy Advance SP First released in Japan February 14, 2003, the Game Boy Advance SP — Nintendo model AGS-001 — resolved several problems with the original Game Boy Advance model. It featured a new smaller clamshell design with a flip-up screen, a switchable internal frontlight, a rechargeable battery, In mid September 2005, Nintendo released a significantly improved SP model, unofficially dubbed the "Mark II" or GBA SP + or in North America, and officially Nintendo model number AGS-101, that featured a high quality backlit screen instead of a frontlit, similar to the Game Boy Micro screen but larger. ( backlit one is on the right, frontlit on the left)

Game Boy Micro The third form of Game Boy Advance system, the Game Boy Micro is four inches wide (10 cm), two inches tall (5 cm), and weighs 2.8 ounces (80g). By far the smallest Game Boy created. Its screen is approximately 2/3 the size of the SP and GBA screens while maintaining the same resolution (240×160 pixels) but now has a higher quality (than original SP, not improved SP) backlit display with adjustable brightness. In the United States and Canada, except for the 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Game Boy Micro,(picture on the left) included with the system are two additional faceplates which can be swapped to give the system a new look; Nintendo of America sells additional faceplates on its online store.

So there you have it the all game boys ever made my personal guide to them all which one will you get? Personally I would choose the game boy advanced Sp with the backlight. Model AGS-101. The advance Sp has a better colors resolution and the fold up clamshell design. But hey that’s just me. Why not micro you say? Well you can’t play the older games on it which is a drag. So pocket color or advanced refer to this guide if you are thinking about buying one. Thanks.

The 8A Movie Topic.

Have you ever walked down the street and wondered whether to watch the movie that just came out which your friend's are gonna do or finish the book of the movie which you all ready started. I would probably finish the book. Why? you say well because for me I hate leaving things half done and besides the movie would still be in the theater for a long time and there is always next Saturday. If you had ever been in a situation like that then, congrats! We have one thing in common with each other.

This week I've decided to write about the 8A topic. Well for me it all really depends on which specific movie or book we are comparing,so I decided to compare a few myself. Personally, like ms Weldon like the book the boy in the striped pajamas better then the movie. Well for one thing, just by watching the trailer you could tell one difference there for example in the trailer Bruno meet shumel and Bruno asked him "how old are you?" and shumel replied " I'm 8." then Bruno excitedly explained "me too!". When clearly if my memory serves me well is nine in the book. ( if my memory has not failed me yet. ). These are just one of the many differences that is in this movie and book and is certain in other movies in books as well.

In conclusion if i had the choice i would choose books instead of movies why? well firstly they come out faster and are generally, well in my experinces better. So what would YOU choose?

Did You Know.............

To be or not to be?: that is the question! this was a famous quote from Shakespeare's Hamlet. It is said to have 5 times more words in the English language in Shakespeare's time then there are now. now that explains why I sometimes can not under stand a single thing.

By 2013 a super computer will be built that exceeds the computational capabilities of the human brain.....I find that very hard to believe And the fact that there is more information in one weeks worth of the new york times? who giving the facts Here?

I found these Facts in a you tube video called did you know. This video has gotten over quite a few million views. Erik R. Peterson The man said to have made these Very lofty predictions.

Now the question is. is that really going to happen? No One really Knows. As i like to say only time will tell the tale here and only time alone.
